Slowly Deviled Beef
Beef slow-cooked in a bold, slightly spicy sauce often made with mustard, vinegar, and seasonings. Tangy, tender, and great served over rice or bread.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chuck roast 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 3/4 cup water
- 1 (1.3 ounce) envelope sloppy joe seasoning
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
Directions:
- Place the beef, onion, tomato paste, water, sloppy Joe seasoning mix and vinegar in a slow cooker.
- Cook on low setting for 10 hours OR on high setting for 5 hours.
