Slow Cooker Buffalo Brisket

Beef brisket slow-cooked with spicy buffalo sauce until melt-in-your-mouth tender. Delicious in sandwiches or served with sides like coleslaw.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 (3 pound) buffalo brisket
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt and pepper to taste 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  • Lightly coat the inside of a slow cooker with olive oil and place the brisket in the bottom of the cooker. Sprinkle in the onion, garlic, and basil; season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the chicken broth and water. Cook on LOW, covered, until brisket is tender, 6 to 10 hours, basting meat several times to moisten.
