Rice with Herbes de Provence
A fragrant rice dish seasoned with a blend of dried herbs like thyme, rosemary, and lavender. Lightly floral and savory, it pairs well with grilled fish or Mediterranean meals.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 1/2 teaspoons herbes de provence
- 1 pinch sea salt 1 pinch pepper
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan stir together rice, chicken stock, herbes de Provence, salt, and pepper. Set over high heat, and bring to a simmer; cover, and cook 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork, and serve.
