Air fryer Jerk Chicken Wings
These Jerk chicken wings in air fryer are unbelievably easy to make and so very delicious. A supervision-free appetiser that you will love to make for your family and friends.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. chicken wings or 500 gm.
- 2 tbsp. jerk seasoning
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion flakes
- olive oil for spraying
Directions:
- I had whole wings so I cut them into drummettes and wingettes. Dry the wings well using paper towels.
- Now take jerk seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Take chicken wings in a bowl and add the seasoning mix to it. Toss the wings well. Try to coat each wing generously with the spice mix.
- If you face problems of the spice mix adhering to the wings, then just spray the wings with very little olive oil.
- Preheat air fryer at 400F or 200C for 5 minutes.
- Lay the seasoned wings in air fryer basket making sure there is no overlap.
- Air fryer at 400F or 200C for 15-20 minutes. Flip the wings midway for even crisping up.
- Your wings should be done. They will be crispy outside and well cooked and moist inside. A few minutes into the cooking, you will see that the fat starts rendering.
- This helps crisp up the wing well.
- Your jerk chicken wings in air fryer are ready to eat. Enjoy.
- Arrange wings on the rack so that they are not touching.
- Bake for 45 minutes till crispy and done. Flip them midway for even cooking.
- If you have leftover wings, you can try reheating chicken wings in air fryer.
