My son s favorite pancakes
My son will only eat these pancakes. "do you want chocolate chips?" no choco chips "do you want peanut butter?" no peanut butter "how about bananas?" no naners "how about all 3?!" NO (my son I swear is Elvis Presley incarnated. So this is just odd to me. O and he is 2 so that is the reason for the misspelled words lol.) the only thing I have been able to do is the addition of pumpkin.

Sow s Ear Baked Apple Pancake
My boyfriend's mom's world-famous German apple pancake, which, like most family recipes, she says she found way back in a newspaper (The LA Times) which credits it to a restaurant called Sow's Ears. I guess that means this recipe is on its fourth incarnation.
Whole Wheat Swedish Pancakes
Whenever I visit my aunt and uncle, my aunt, who is of Swedish ancestry, makes Swedish pancakes. Swedish pancakes are similar to crepes, and my aunt usually serves them spread with sugar or jam and rolled up. She doesn't use a particular recipe, so I based this recipe on the proportions and ingredients she told me and Andre Grisell's recipe on food.com (http://www.food.com/recipe...). I have used a variety of toppings including fresh fruit and honey, raspberry jam and cream cheese, spiced apples, and even eat them plain the following day for lunch.
Light & Fluffy Whole Wheat Pancakes
Is there such a thing as light and fluffy whole wheat pancakes? I've been searching for a good recipe for quite some time. The many recipes I've tried, never produced stellar results. I even resorted to buying a prepackaged mix which was a bad idea, as you might have guessed. Just when I was about to give up, I stumbled upon Alton Brown's recipe. To my surprise, fully whole wheat pancakes really do exist.

Banana Pancakes
With the creamy texture and delicious flavor of bananas, these pancakes are stunningly good. You will be seriously popular if you feed these to your family or friends. Another plus: this is a great way to get rid of mushy bananas (that doesn’t involve making banana bread).
Sticky Date Pancakes
Sticky Toffee Pudding, or “Sticky Date Pudding,” as some call it, is one of my all-time favorite desserts, and I am enchanted by all things citrus. So naturally I dreamed up these breakfast pancakes that combine both! They're moist and sweetly spiced with cinnamon, allspice & cloves, with a bright blood-orange and honey syrup and segmented oranges to drizzle over the top. Notes: the whole recipe calls for 6 blood oranges, to be used for zest, juice, and segmented oranges. If blood oranges are not available, another orange variety will work fine as a substitute. I strongly recommend using medjoul dates, since other varieties of dates might not be sweet or soft enough.
Gluten Free Banana Pancakes
What's better than pancakes? Gluten-free banana pancakes! No joke. "A" for amazing flavor, and cutting those carb calories! Just what I need post Holiday!
Pumpkin Oatmeal Pancakes
The pumpkin puree in this recipe makes it a filling breakfast, so you'll be satisfied all morning long. You can substitute pumpkin for pureed winter squashes or mashed sweet potato.
