What you will learn
Kids will learn how to roll two types of sushi with Chef Shahida! This fun and interactive sushi-making class for kids will teach all the ins and outs of the art of sushi rolling. It's perfect for kids of all ages. After Chef Shahida teaches everyone how to chop fresh vegetables for a miso soup, kids will roll up a blended California roll and Philadelphia roll with kani crab sticks, cucumbers, cream cheese and carrots. Then for dessert, make sweet treats in sushi form with Rice Krispies, Fruit Roll-Ups and more! A minimum of one adult is required to be in attendance per group. Adults are required to purchase tickets in addition to kids. This class is recommended for ages 5-15.
What To Expect
In our classes you'll work together with other students (in groups of 4), sharing workstations and equipment in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above.
Hands-on classes are limited to 14-16 students, depending on location.
You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Students receive a coupon for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class.
Cancellations or changes must be completed at least 48 hours before the start time of class.
