What you will learn
Savor the tastes and aromas of Southern Italy's culinary prowess with an Italian-trained chef. In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Chris, you'll learn the culinary skills and techniques needed to create a menu of Southern Italy classics completely from scratch from appetizer to dessert. Begin by handcrafting a staple from the region of Puglia - San Marzano "panzerotti" (mini pizzas). Then, Chef Chris will teach you how to make homemade pasta dough, which you'll shape into orecchiette pasta and top with fresh tomato, shrimp and Calabrese chili sauce. Your authentic Italian feast will close with homemade limoncello sorbet crowned with an unforgettable roasted basil-strawberry sauce. Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
