What you will learn

Young gourmets get their turn in the kitchen for a lesson in desserts! Chef Chris gets mini cooks into the dessert spirit with this hands-on cooking class for kids. He'll show them the basics of creating some simple sweets from scratch. With Chef Chris's guidance, kids will create a heavenly batch of chocolate and vanilla swirled cupcakes and a cookies and cream buttercream frosting to top them. Then, they'll mix their very own mint chocolate chip ice cream made with fresh milk and cream and topped with fresh whipped cream they make themselves. It's an exciting lesson for any budding cook with a sweet tooth! A minimum of one adult is required to be in attendance per group. Adults are required to purchase tickets in addition to kids. This class is recommended for ages 5-15.

What To Expect

In our classes you'll work together with other students (in groups of 4), sharing workstations and equipment in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above.
Hands-on classes are limited to 14-16 students, depending on location.
You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Students receive a coupon for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class.
Cancellations or changes must be completed at least 48 hours before the start time of class.
